Onsite Remediation with the Experts

We have the experience and equipment to carry out the decontamination of spaces or sites that have been contaminated with materials or waste that, due to their quantities and characteristics, represent a risk to health and the environment.

Remediation is the set of measures that contaminated sites are subjected to eliminate or reduce contaminants to a safe level for health and the environment.

The remediation processes are determined according to the physical-chemical characteristics of the pollutants as well as the affected areas, soils or structures, so each case requires a particular diagnosis and analysis.

In our remediation processes, samples and measurements are carried out at the beginning and at the end of the process. Where necessary, the materials are available and transferred to other plants for treatment, while the surfaces or structures, depending on the case, must be rebuilt or renovated according to specific recommendations.

Tank and Confined Space Cleaning

Storage tanks or confined spaces, due to their structural characteristics, generally have sewers or manholes with limited access. These same structures favor the accumulation of gases and sedimentation. Its cleaning and maintenance requires that our technicians, in addition to being trained in the handling of the stored substance, have adequate equipment that includes among others: anti-chemical protective clothing, special extraction equipment, ventilation and the handling of explosion tests to avoid any risk during cleaning.

In our extensive experience we have worked in the cleaning and maintenance of tanks for active substances, fuels, solvents and other special handling materials, with excellent performance, normally as part of a permanent work plan for environmental compliance and safety.

Stabilization of High Risk Waste

The reactivity of metallic residues combined with each other or with other substances, can produce chemical reactions with high temperatures, cause fires and explosions and contaminate the soil or the air. Stabilization is a process that with various techniques converts harmful chemicals into less harmful substances that prevent or reduce the release of harmful chemicals from contaminated soil or mud.

In general, these methods do not destroy chemicals, but rather protect human health and the environment by preventing chemicals from being released into the environment. Our highly trained staff uses stabilizing agents in ideal proportions so that these compounds are neither soluble nor displaced and allow their correct disposition.

Lab Pack & Loose Pack

Many industrial plants and waste generating sites have specific areas where continuous use containers of chemicals are disposed of. Labs Packs are the solution for those types of lower volume and frequent use needs. These packaging systems group containers or packages of 5 gallons or less that are of the same hazard class or chemical assets. Some of these containers can be recycled and others reused after certain treatments. Our experts classify each of the reagents to make the shipment properly and give the correct treatment that minimizes final disposal and promotes reuse.

Loose Packs, also known as “Commodity Packs” are drum-type packages or boxes that contain small containers or cans of the same type of waste (paints, flavorings, aerosols, compressed liquids) that do not require additional classification and can be reused or minimized in set.

Classification of Obsolete

Despite the planning in the supply, certain materials can become obsolete for different reasons: technological update, lower costs, technical adjustments, process substitution, among others.

An inventory of obsolete materials can become an environmental risk if they are not disposed of correctly.

Our technicians inventory, identify, pack and transport these obsolete inventories to dispose of them in the proper and environmentally safe manner.
